Sorry, my bad. I have a 25 gallon tall tank and the fixture I bought is a 24-inch.

I just bought one for $75 delivered. So far I love it. My tank is 18 inches deep

I've been running an AquaClear 70 and an AquaClear 30 for about 4 years now with no problem but I was thinking about getting a canister, trying to decide between these two not sure if the 250 is too big. Money is not much different between the two.
