In my opinion, you should take it out. Those things multiply like crazy!!!! If one got in on a plant, chances are there are some babies on the plants too.

I don't think that's a platy. Looks like a Dalmatian Molly to me. I could be wrong, but its not shaped like my platies at all. If she is pregnant, it will be a while. She is not squared off in the pics...

I have found that if I feed two smaller meals a day, the fish get almost all of it fast. I guess it has controlled my population. I actually moved a few snails over to another tank and purposely over fed to get more babies. Worked like a charm! Even though they had a ton of babies, It wasn't too...

This is true, however, if you do not over feed they won't get out of control.

If you don't have the money to buy snails, I will happily send you some baby MTS snails. They are tiny right now, but grow fast!

Just a warning, but pond snails will take over your tank! They lay eggs all over the glass(and everything else) and reproduce VERY quickly! I put 6 in my three gallon tank on Mother's Day, and took out several hundred the other night!
