The problem isn't really the anenome, it's the clowns that are killing things to bring to the anenome. The anenome is the only one that i've had that doesn't move constantly. It finds it's place and stays there.

Yeah I have no idea either, but I do know it would be super cool if they did lay eggs and they hatched and made it!

ok so i called the lfs, and the guy there told me that the clowns might try to be mate. (since they are in the anenome together)They were paired when i got them. To move them to a tank by themselves with the anenome and watch them. Any body else think this could be the case?

Should I take out the anemone and let the clowns go back to the nice fish that they once were? They have been chasing my purple fire fish for a few hours now! I just dont know what to do! I got the anemone to make the clowns happy and just turned them in to crazy fish.

They DON'T spear each other. They haven't done that since I put the scopas in with the yellow when I bought him. They don't hurt each other. Just chase, like a game. And only for like half an hour at night. It's quite entertaining.

When I first set up my tank(about 3 yrs ago), if I remember correctly my alge bloom happened about week 3 or 4. It was really crazy. Went to work one day when I left the tank was clean, when i got home it was totally covered in algae and a couple of days later it was gone. Strangest thing.

I have one that i've had for about 8 months now, which is the longest i've ever had one. The very first one I had(3 years ago when i first set up the tank) starved to death because i didn't know about the pod thing, the last one died from ick. But this one is doing great, he's fat and happy!
