Finally got my 30Gal set up

Thank you tabbs! All of my fry are still kicking too I'm so happy!

I had one rock shrimp to start and he was almost all bright red, I added a new rock shrimp that was a light color with a stripe down its back about 4-5 days ago and they hid. As usual but now they came out and look identical. Does anyone have any explanation?

So basically if I plan on keeping the guppies I should invest in a fry tank

Well she poped last night but only had four fry. Is that common to have such a low number?

I bought a fry basket/net similar to the one in the post above, when should I transfer my momma to it? Is there any drawbacks to putting her in there too early?
