I've been looking it does open up alot of possibilites. My water temp is like 20 degrees at the moment only really need to get it up to 24 or 5 for most tropical?

Or would it need to be in the main part of the tank?

I have cycled. Contemplating getting a heater. Not really sure where I'd put it in my tank? My tank has like a front main bit, then a black wall with three sections, one houses the filter pump, one houses the filter and filter media. And the other is empty. Would the heater go on there?

I talked to the guy in my lfs, how many celestial pearl danios would I be looking at? :£

You have talked to me, but I was just seeing other people's opinions. Guy in lfs suggested a small schooling fish such as celestial pearl danios. A group of 6 with my 2 platy :)

I have a 27 litre tank. And wanted some realistic suggestions on what to stock with my 2 female variatus platy. It is a filtered tank, and is being kept as coldwater/temperate. Around 20 C/ 68f. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have a relatively new tank. It has cycled and I have Introduced to variatus platy. I am having the tank as an ingested tank. It is 27 litres. I just wanted to know some suggestions of what to put with my platy? Thankyou

This ones made by love fish. It was 45 GBP. The filter is all enclosed in the back so you can't see it at all. And then it has a glass lid as well. And a clip on blue led light.

No it doesn't its just glass so yes I'd assume rimless would describe it :) not with the tank at the moment.

That's the tank, I'm not really sure what you mean by rimless. The guy in the FS said it had a good filter. I wanted to get a good filter as its a small tank I know it can be hard to keep the water balance right.

Sorry I don't know much about filters! I'm a beginner. This is the first tank of my own. But ie done far too much reading haha

It's like a built in one with the tank, takes a coarse sponge and a fine sponge, that carbon stuff and that ceramic stuff in net bags.

The platy I have are temperate fish, they are variatus variety so are not tropical, kept at around 20 degrees c, which I believe white clouds are okay at as well :)

Does it look pregnant though? :)

I know, I'm planning on doing 20/25% water changes at least once a week. And if I was to get any other fish was thinking maybe 3 white clouds. Or something along those lines :)

Plus I only have the 2 platy in at the moment no other fish.

The tank is 27 litres so around 6 gallons. It's not that I don't want fry I just don't want to overstock :)

From the pictures do they look pregnant? I just need to know as was planning on buying more fish, but only have a relatively small tank so don't want to overstock.

Is my platy pregnant!? There are only 2 females in the tank but I bought them in the last week from my lfs. Any ideas?

Literally 3 days ago now, she doesn't look pregnant from what I can tell. They swim About peacefully 90 percent of the time! I've been watching them today and it hasn't happened so far. Fingers crossed it was just a bit of settlin into the tank and I won't have baby fry on my hands
