I wouldn't not have added anything until your cycle is done let nature run its course I would just wait a week or so do a pwc and most if all just be patient

Any of you have firefish together I have heard stories and rumors about two together but mine are like best friends they even cuddle together in the same house rock with each other my dottyback likes to pick on them and scare them out of their house lol

Yea like dude said you have to have your sand and rocks in the bucket your cycling in so the bb will grow on it if you just have your rock and sand sitting in the tank withoutht the saltwater your not doing anything at all

Your ammonia will spike like off the charts once during cycling and after it reaches 0 your nitrites will spike and go to 0 and same with nitrate but its hard to get a complete 0 reading on nitrates since its always present but not harmful to the fish.
