okay, i think im gonna go with the 13k bulb. Can anyone recommend a good bulb brand? or are they all pretty comparable. Something affordable but also dependable.

Are 13k or 20k bulbs good for growth?? I am just worried that the 20k mite be too blue..

I have a 35 gallon HEX and i am purchasing a 175w metal halide pendant for it. What is the ideal bulb to get for it? 10k? 13k? or 20k?. I will not be running any actinic (not sure if i spelled that rite) lights, just the pendant only. Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated

I was gonna leave my mantis in my tank also.... until it started to kill all my fish. I would take care of it as soon as possible.

First thing u wanna do is try to identify where the Mantis is. Then place the trap in that certain area. Turn off the lights in the tank. Then check on it periodically. It took me only about 2 hours to catch it. Goodluck

my cleaner shrimp was great! he cleaned both my angel and tang(RIP). Badifsh has yours grown at all? Mine has molted (not sure if i spelled that right) like 5 times since i got him. They are a great addition to any tank.. I was thinkin about gettin a Fire shrimp, can u put the 2 together?
