I am going to need patience. On Wednesday I will change 50% of water and change my three filters, put in API water conditioner and then test on Thursday. Does this sound right? I might lose my patience after this.

Okay guys. Here we go! New tank and now with the stuff! I put the API water conditioner. Heater in. Temp about 70. Anything else before I put my 2 fish back???

So. Basically. Fill the tank up, put the API water conditioner and filters and stuff an add the old fish after testing the water? Does the water have to sit for 24 hours?

@fishwonder... Getting the tank tomorrow. Now. The 2 fish in the bucket. Still live and kicking, looking to eat. I give a little pinch, very little. When I get new tank. How will the old guys survive in the new tank? What steps do I need to do with new tank? I appreciate the help.

@charlie the back seal. No glass broken. Getting new tank saturday and getting the tank sealant for the next disaster.

Oh Crap! I have a white kissing gourami and a blue gourami, but I have bad news..... see attached. On the day I received the master api kit and water conditioner, the tank decided to give up on me. The back seal went and water started leaking. What a mess. I really hope you guys can give me...

Great info pyealands! Thanks. @ fishwonder I didn't clean any filters and didn't change 50% of water. It was about 75%, so I just top off. I let the water sit for 24 hours made sure the temperature was the same as tank and added it 30 minutes ago. I didn't use the stress coat+ after adding...

The inside of the tank looks okay. Water is clear and I do not see any issues. I meant remove half the tank water and refill and clean all filters. Petco has the kit. I will pick it up this weekend and report back my findings. Both API's have the + Tank is over 3 years old. I believe.

@fishwonder. I just have the API PH test kit. I use API stress coat and API stress zyme. I let the water sit for 24 hours with an extra heater to keep the water the same temp before putting in tank. I will invest in this master kit link you sent me.Thanks. Currently out of stock on Amazon...
