My big corries are becoming more active hooray! Just needed adjustment. My plants are really benefiting from the influx of fish too.

No one said anything about an Oscar, 1in of fish per gallon is universal. I'm not in the minority saying that.

A 10 gallon isn't that small. Of course your fish would prefer an ocean to a lake but, danios? Really? They're small and just happy guys. Don't put a lot of fish in there though. The 1 in of fish per gallon is ideal.

I don't see the big taboo on breeding bettas that aren't purebred or same fin type... Veil tail and crown tails are so generic, I love mutts. They can turn out beautiful! I have a twin tail half moon, its like a perfection of a plain twin tail. Those bettas you found are very pretty! <3

Hi :) I'd like to suggest and comment. Danios are adorable, but only a few for your tank, look for longfin, they're cuter. Never get a pleco because they get dinosaur size (not sure about all types). Also, plecos will jump out of your tank through the tiniest holes. Tetras are boring to me...

Water mold? Help me identify..this showed up in a matter of hours? I think my plants are dead...can they create this, is it water mold? Help.

Oh yes I will upgrade in a few years.. How can I resist? And I have no choice because my Clowns will get huge. So my plan now is to trade 1 zipper loach for two small Albino Corys from my friend, maybe it will help.. We'll see. :)

Hmm.. So its impossible for me to get another cory of the same species, and I'm already pushing it with the amount of fish I have in my ten. What if I got one or MAYBE two peppered cories about the same large size? Don't they segregate by coloring?? Anyone have success?

Firstly, I bought 2 cory catfish (2 weeks ago), they were labled "Robin's Cory Cat" but that seems to be an unusual name. They were bigger then I expected about three or more solid inches. I doubt they are diseased because they don't display any symptoms but lethargy. And they do have little rub...

My Betta Noname, new, he's a twintail but is he a half moon betta? And from lurking here I found out his color is called "butterfly". :D He is peaceful and busy building bubble nests all day.
