How big are your Nerites? I have mine in a tank with assassin snails & haven't had a problem. My Nerites are about 1/2 or 3/4 inch. In my 55gal planted I added 4 assassins & within about a month all the little snails were gone. I also have a planted 15gal column that was completely infested...

I've used Clear Fast before & it worked great. You should use filter floss with it tho. That being said, you can clear up cloudy water just by using filter floss alone. It takes a couple of days but then you're not using chemicals. This all depends on WHY your water is cloudy of course

Well finally got the tank cleaned & now running great. A friend was shutting down his 10 gallon nano so I got all his sand, live rock, corals, water, & critters. Fastest cycle ever! Here's the before & after pics. So stoked. It's my first saltwater ever! Before After Critters

I don't know very much about puffers except they are aggressive & multiples shouldn't be housed in a 10 gallon tank. Also you just got the tank? Did you cycle prior to adding the fish?

My embers school & the only fish in their tank are neons, mosquito Rasboras (awesome nano fish), sparkle gouramis, licorice gouramis, & Dario Dario. So I would think they'd still stick together
