    Hi guys, currently i'm having a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft 10 gal FOWLR tank ... and i just upgraded the lighting (1 x 20W daylight and 1 x 20W coral blue moon) . The heat dissipated by the light is pretty hot .. i'm wondering if the fish and invertebrate can take it ? temp is about 31-32 celcius degree...

    In your opinion, which is the hardiest ? and which can tolerate low-lighting like mine ? Will NO3 affect shrooms much ? cos i still hvt got any reading at NO3 . At least, NO2,ammonia is very close to 0.

    ok ... i did went to the LFS and bought one CBS ... but ... it dead within 3 hours in the tank !! why ?? i did acclimate it .. 30 mins for the water temperature, 15 mins for the salinity acclimation ... Ammonia = 0 Nitrite = 0 Nitrate = unknown can i know wat could be the reason to kill it...

    What's the correct readings for pH and kH ? for a planted freshwater tank ? i have neon tetras, rummies , ottos and some shrimps in the tank. what would be the desirable reading for it ??? What if the pH is too high or low ? What if the kH is too high or low ?

    30' ! i'd assume it's 30 feet ? 30" would be inches ? hehe but 30' feet deep is a way too deep ! ... mine is just an approximately 2ft deep tank.. but i read an article before, telling that normal FL the intensity cant go through any depth which is more than 2ft .. is that true ?

    bcos i read some articles , stated that , if the tank is deeper than 60 cm , then u'll need MH , since normal FL or compact light will not penetrate that deep .. whereas 60cm is about 24 inch .. my tank height is aboout 22 inch + the distance between the light where it hangs and the water...

    well most of them said it is a gonio .. and yes it appears like a rounded disc shape with alot of dead spot and only a portion of gonio .... and will it eventually bcome another LR which can also colonize alot of BB ?
