    Oscar tank update! :)

Omega one is better than Hikari. NLS is the best. I feed Hikari and Omega one to my oscars. Along with frozen beef heart, frozen blood worms (and freeze dried) brine shrimp as well.

juvie oscar with 5-6 in. sev

How big is your Oscar? And how big is the Sev? They seem to get to 2.5 to 3 inches pretty quick. They WILL get messed up by an Oscar if the oscar doesn't like them. Firemouths are all bark no bite. I had one in with my Oscar for a little while and they got along fine. If he is getting attacked...

    Plecos

    Clown Pleco. Bristlenose Pleco.

    Idea for 75G

Way too big. You can add a GT or JD after the other is introduced if the tank size permits.

    Idea for 75G

No ghost knife. I think with the rest of that stock you'd be okay, maybe another schooling fish. Giant dainos, silver dollars.

    Idea for 75G

Rivers not true. He can add one later. It doesn't give them any better chances surviving by adding them at the same time. Also I would NOT add a GT and a JD in a 75. That is too small. Almost like two oscars ina 75.

juvie oscar with 5-6 in. sev

Should be fine. Sevs are usually bluffers like firemouths.

    Idea for 75G

Could also look at a firemouth instead of a convict.

    Idea for 75G

Okay, here you go. Green Terrors need 55 gallons, JD needs a 55. 2 Cons, especially breeding, need a tank to themselves, that would be at least 40 gallons. Stick to one algae eater, maybe a bristlenose pleco. Stocking Idea: Choose One: JD GT And then, 6 tiger barbs, 1 Pleco. One convict.

55/75 minimum. 110 for two. Bloodowrms beef heart and krill are good too.

    Help please?!

When you do maintenance it should only take a few primes.
  13. C

    Help please?!

Are you giving it a second after priming? Also check the tubes. One is in one is out, make sure you have the out hooked up to the spray bar and the in hooked up to the intake tube. I did the same thing.

Which single fish for 27 gallon tank?

Malcupinis. Really beautiful. I have one of those, and a Thorichthys ellioti. Both beautiful.

    Water changes

Yeah, i'd bet the nitrates are 40+. When they get to 20 do a partial change. let them be your guide.

    How does it look

Eh, I suppose. If it's a male, i'd say 55 cause most likely will push 10+ inches. Female 8+ inches.

Which single fish for 27 gallon tank?

Yeah Female Cons are real nice. A single salvini might be alright as well. They get to about 6 inches.

How much for a 5 inch pleco

A common pleco needs a LARGE tank. Larger than a 75. Get maybe a rubberlip or bristlenose.
  19. C

    How does it look

I think you're pushing it with the JD and the current fish at 90 gallons. 55 for the JD, and a 6 Inch requires at least 29+ gallons. That'd set you at 84. Maybe one firemouth. Or a female con... but I wouldn't.

    How does it look

Other looks like a lutino oscar to me? Maybe I'm wrong :P

    Driftwood

Hmm. Probably 12-14 inches long. 6 inches tall. It's a weird shape piece. but its not small by any means.
