    Hammer Coral Flesh Coming Out!

    I just bought the hammer coral saturday, when I was placing the coral I felt a piece of the shell break and in 2 days this is what I have. Is this coral going to die or can it save itself... All para.. are within specs except for nitrate = 20 ppm... Hence the red slime.

    Upgrade to 105 gallon...Complete!

    So the upgrade from 55 to 105 is complete. Tank is self sustaining with a 30 gallon refugium. All corals/fish survived and are doing very well.

    So im moving my 55 gallon to a new 105 gallon...

    And im stumped about what to do with the sand. Some say you must use old sand for bacteria etc... some say use new sand to keep from creating toxins in new tank. I just wanted to see what everyone would do. Happy Reefing! :fish2:
