    Just got an Orange shoulder. he is only about 2" right now. How long before they start to change from yellow to gray. Very cool fish, people cannot believe it when I tell them that he will be two shades of gray when he grows up. :roll:

    I did not know that! :oops: The funny thing is that they have been together for about 4 months. I have another clam that hopefully he leaves alone. In the end the eel is one of my favorites and if clam is what he likes, I guess I will be done with clams. Thanks for the replies.

    Came home the other night and my clam was on its side wedged between two rocks and gutted. My daughter said she saw the eel with his head in there. I tried to feed him as usual but he was not hungry so I am betting it was him. Has anyone else had this experience?

    Triggers in a reef???

    I have a niger trigger in my reef tank for about 6 weeks now and have had absolutely no problems with him picking on my corals, he never even looks at them. I do feel that he is eating my hermit crabs, but that is ok. Blue throat triggers are also said to be reef safe.

    I have had a niger trigger in my tank for about 6 weeks now with no problems. Also put a bicolor angel in as well as a golden tail moray. Becareful with the triggers there only a few that are reef safe.

    Green tubes on/in live rock???

    They look like a white feather duster tube but are an almost translucent green and hollow in the middle. Just noticed them a couple of days ago. Any help would be appreciated. :?:
