I have had my 38 gl tank set up about two months now and last time i checked the parameters they were all spot on but unfortunatley i have ran out of test equipment, but i have noticed today that one of my guppies is pecking at my koi and also the kissing gourami which they have never done this...

i need to get rid of this one really but no one will take it lol

well going off what the supposedly expert in the shop it would be fine, my tank is cycled and all the other fish are fine

i bought a pangasius catfish from my lfs and the lady said it wwould be fine on its own, i have now discovered they need to be in groups and they grow pretty large and i only have a 38gl tank, its staying at one side of the tank near the filter swimming against the glass constantly any...

are they an expensive fish then to buy?

oh thats good to know that there ok with other fish, i will be getting more tanks to do my little projects so i will probably have many other types of fish when i become more confident lol.

do they actually raise the fry or eat them? they sound like a good project to do if i invest in another separate tank for them, also what about vegetation? substrate. what do you mean if i put one male to two female then theres a possibility of aggressive behavior?

thats a lovely fish, can you not have many of them in the same tank then? i am ideally looking for a well stocked tank to what it can handle and also do cichlids need salt in the water?
