    Sump noise

    There's a couple of things that can help. Look up Durso standpipe for the overflows. For the sump I just extended my drain hoses into the bottom of the filter sock. And raised the water level so the bottom of the sock is under water. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Powerhead or water pump?

    Try taking the cover off and plug the pump in for a moment. If the coil is good the impeller should move a little or rattle. If not try to turn it. You should feel resistance. If no movement or resistance the pump is gone. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    You can use a flash light to check on him. IMO as the room slowly get lighter it gives the new fish time to find hiding spots and meet its new roomies. I'm going to assume that you acclimated your fish. The drip method is preferred. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
