Maybe your Pleco is just a necrophiliac?

Hey... I have had butterfly loach/pleco's... Mine always ate the alge on the side of the tank.. and got into the tight corners my regular pleco couldnt;l reach... the pleco did the main glass cleaning, and the butterflys did the detail work.. and they never get that biug.. jsut about 2"...

You might also want to consider the Butterfly Pleco (louch). They look very cool.. sort of look like a sting rey.. and stay pretty small.. always eating the alge...

Actually.. no on the 125 gallon idea... There is a VERY sharp turn immediatley before my door... When we moved my bed in, we has to cut the boxspring in 1/2 (it was only a queen size). I figured o nthe leaving it part though.. lol thanks for tyhe input though

Hi there.. I know this is a little off topic... but I have a pair of lovely Cockatiels... a male and female. I do not have the time to take care of both them, and my tanks, and my cats.. lol.. The Male cockatiel seems to be very intelligent... loves to learn new songs to whistle... Also knows...

Hi there.. I doubt anyone wants them.. but i have a LOT of goldfish I want to get rid of... close to 10 or so. They started as feeders that never got eaten. Some as as big as 8" or so now... I am in Sheboygan WI. Let me know if anyone wants them.. as they are VERY hardy fish

I am sorry but there is NO WAY I couidl get 150g+ tank into my apartment. I have enough troubles gettign the 75 in here...and the tank is only a year old... so it isn't that old... But thanks for the suggestions

Hi there.. I have some questions.. I am possibly interested in switching to sand... but I have some reserves about it.. first off, I burry my air tubing underneath the gravel to hide it.... Wouldn;t it become unburied much easier with sand? Also... I have a great undergravel filter system...

On a side note, with your old filter.. I had the same issue with mine... And it was very easily fixable... I mearly took off the suction tube.. took a knife, placed it in they hole where the thing spins.. and while pluggs in I gave it a "jump start" by forcing it to start spinning.. and it...

They sell them at my LFS... For liek $4 or $5.,.. They look pretty cool.. Maybe if you ask the owner of your LFS he could order one for oyu in his next order? They never get that big though.. I was hoping it woudl get to be liek 10".. but never more than liek 2".. lol.. I am glad I could help...

I have always been partial to the Butterfly Pleco (aka Butterfly Louch). It stays at like 2"... and it actually looks sort of liek a stingray in my opinion.. They look cool swimmig naroudn the tank.. although most of the time they are on the glass cleaning it. Hope I could be some help

Does anyone know what those plants are? It is just a type od grass that grows under water? I am very interested in plating some them that in my tank.. I asked the guy who owns my local pet store, and he is also interested in it but doesn;t know exactly what it is.. Any help would be great...
