i have a 20 gal tank with three danios three tetras one angel and the shark i am moving my tank soon so i think i will try re aranging it then if it dosent get better i will return him

im not sure what kind of angel mine is sry but the plant is just a cheap petsmart one that u can seperate every like 2 inches so i took it apart and wrapped them in circles till they fit around the intake tube nice & snug and just put it back on

i know this thread is about his sweet tank but if u do buy a filter from petsmart or petco take a printout of the online price i saved like 15 bucks on my emperor 280

theres a pic of my angel (sry it took so long) and heres my bros tank im getting this summer

ok i checked and there are no holes in the intake tube and no hairs on the impellar and its on tight so i called marineland again and they said that they would send me a brand new impellar in 5-7 buisness days ! so thanks for all the help with this

it makes a sound like there is sand in the impellar but i have washed & checked it and there is none,thx melonie i will check that asap

ok i just got a emperor 280 and it seemed quiet for a while but now it makes a mechanical noise i have rinsed the impeller cleaned the inside of the filter with q-tips and all that its still noisy and its annoying because its in my bedroom is this regular for emperors or not i did used to have...

very nice i like it a lot thats what i want the one im saving up for to look like

thx for all the comments the filter tube looked out of place so i tried that and ya i will try to get a few pics of my angel tonight

this is my 20 galllon its my fist tank that i have had it for a year now i just got a Emperor 280 its a bit over kill but my old filter died so i figured id get something nice and i also just got a hex5 and will soon get my bros ten gallon so i can take care of his shark while he is working out...
