    Cherry Red Shrimps disappearing

Hi Scott, thank you for that, I actually found two of the six yesterday hiding in the plants though I can only see one so will just have to look a little harder. Would it be worth trying with Crystal shrimps as the seem a little bigger than the red cherry ones or would I be just be wasting my...

    Cherry Red Shrimps disappearing

Hey thanks for answering so swiftly, the shrimps went in Sunday, all gone by Monday, the guppies, loaches and baby mollies mouths are too small so it must be the BN catfish.....oh well they were fed well that evening :-(

    Cherry Red Shrimps disappearing

Would bristle nose catfish eat cherry red shrimps? Upon advice from my local shop I removed the six mollies from my tank leaving four baby mollies, six guppies, three bristle nose catfish and two clown loaches but all six of the shrimps disappeared in one night, the catfish are approx three...

    Any Aussies About?

I have just realised that the Seaview Aquarium is the one we went to on Anzac and I agree it has a massive selection and always very busy, a beautiful selection of fish too. :-)

    Oscar Pistoris

Funny but the guy we bought him from for $30 was keeping him in a tank half the size of our 300L one and it was full of stuff that gave him very little room, hopefully he will flourish in ours. :-)

    Any Aussies About?

Yes first tank and so far so good, the guppy s still smiling. You're right that Hilltop is a bit small, well compared to the one on Anzac, but they are friendly and knowledgable which is what I need. I will give the Seaview one a go when it comes to adding to mine in a few weeks time. All I will...

Suggestions for stocking my 70L freshwater tank

Thanks Mebbid and sad news about the BNs as the seem like fun little fish which probably don't stay little for long which is the problem. I like the sound of the shrimp, can I have one with the cats or not? Maybe a few snails instead. :-)

Suggestions for stocking my 70L freshwater tank

Hi Scouser and thanks for replying, yes have a couple of plants in, one on a log the other on a broken pot, all from the fishy shop, and after one night the guppies seem to be happy. I do like the idea of the cory cats, definitely don't want any aggression, was thinking a bristle nose too? Or am...
