Hi all, Just wanted to share some pics of my breeding german blue rams. I'm so excited since they have been at it for 5 months now but the fry kept getting eaten by my neon tetras. If you have any advice on how to make sure the fry get enough food, I am all ears :-) Thanks!

I agree with ladyapril. Unless you can tell he is in pain (not swimming or eating), I would give him a chance to heal. Keep the water very clean so his wound does not get infected.

Sorry - crazy couple of days here. I really appreciate the help though! I do not have a softener - the water coming out of the tap is untreated. I just did the drop test. GH - 4 drops - ppm = 71 KH - between 2 and 3 drops - ppm = 35-53 Does that make more sense?

Thank you, Fort384! Good questions. The 0 results are from the API test strips. I got liquid tests for Gh and kh which I will do tomorrow after work. I will post my results ASAP. My water is from my tap- comes from hetch-hetchy reservoir. I treat it with kordon novaqua plus.

Hello avid fish keepers! I noticed some moisture in my heater today while doing my water change. Should I be concerned or is this normal? You can see condensation where the heater light is. Brand is Topfin if I recall. Was purchased and fired up in July of this year. Thanks!
