Glad it worked for you, I will have to try those if melafix doesn't work. I just bought it and dosed my tank. She looks A LOT worse today. I really don't know how she's still alive.

I meant it's good to do that if you pick the pieces from the creek or lake.... If you bought them from a store it should be fine. The purpose of soaking it is so it will sink in your tank and the tannins leach out before you stick it in there.

To give you an idea, I got white sand, real driftwood from the beach, and bought live plants. Also I really like black backgrounds with white sand. Here are my tanks. The second one is a rock I found on a hike and some natural looking gravel from petsmart. If you get real driftwood it's fine...

Usually you can't tell Guppys apart until they're 3 months old, that's when they're sexually mature. Idk about Mollies though, probably around the same time as Guppies

If you want to keep as many fry as you can then I suggest getting a breeder net from the store, or using a regular net and setting it in the water. That's what I'm doing with my 3 fry. Remember to feed the fry small amounts multiple times a day.

Are the cooler water changes tricking them into thinking it's rain water or? I keep the heater at 80 degrees right?

My region doesn't have pool filter sand. But if your Home Depot has it, then that's the way to go. If not, Petco has it, it's just more expensive. It doesn't cloud water and it settles really fast.
