The stand came today so I started to build it, took a while instructions weren't the best as usual lol. Ended up doing most it from visual :/ Edit:: Exceeded my image limit. Will upload when I get the chance haha.

Yeah pets at home are not the best for advice that's who sold my mum her "sucker loach" for a 10g tank and said it would be fine. Even though they grow 12" long and the tank is 12"....

I think it is a gyrino? Would it be ok in the 10g till Christmas and then be ok in the 25g (31" long) long term?

Managed to get the official stand w/cupboard WTD on sale for £50.

I always use the feed method but I put the net in the water during the day so they get used to it, throw the food in when I get back from work and lift the net, usually get more fish than I wanted but that's not a bad thing lol.

They shod be fine for now but you may have to upgrade your tank as the grow quite big. :)

Maybe he's still adjusting to the new tank or maybe he is simply getting enough from the glass etc. keep an eye on him. Maybe try target feeding if things don't improve.

How do you know your fish are happy? :/ because they haven't died yet? I heard that's the best way to tell....

Yeah you might have started a mini cycle, do you have a test kit? Hopefully it will calm down once it realises it's safe :)

If you put all new water in the tank then that's probably the problem, the fish wouldn't of been acclimated properly so the sudden change in conditions would of caused shock. :(

Most don't live 10 because idiots like you own them, house them wrong, and generally think it's ok....
