    Piranha Acting wierd

They do better in groups of 6 or more. To get him to feed in front of you it will probably take a few months and make sure to have plenty of hiding spots and possibly cover the top of the water with floating plants like the amazon. What type of pirahna is it?

Syracuse, Watertown, Ogdensburg, Potsdam, NY Anyone?

I'm from the Syracuse area. There is not many of us around for some reason. It's quite disappointing.

    angry clownfish

I'm pretty sure the female is the larger one. lol Harry!! As it's easier to say to get a larger tank than just up and purchasing one (I'm pretty sure none of us here are millionaires), that's what I would still suggest. What you can do is check out craigslist and see if anyone is trying to sell...

    duncans that won't open

I will chime on to this. I purchased 4 duncan heads and like goisles1 said, they were open for a few days then had suddenly closed for over a week. Just last week they opened back up and are gorgeous! A bit pricey per head around here but worth it! Hopefully I can get these puppies fragged one day!

Difference between 14k and 20k MH Lighing

lol R6Chick. I do understand what they are supposed to look like. But basically, its hard to be like, "Well, it's bluer than the 14K". Unless I can see comparisons it's hard to figure out. I have gone all over online to figure it out. The marinedepot idea, do you have a link for the exact page?

    New Oceanic BioCube 14gallon!!!

Lol. Once I get pictures up. Look in the freshwater planted section within the next few weeks. Right now, I'm making a deal and about to get a 75 gallon with stand. So that is my new project!!! I will upgrade my 46 to this 75. I'm pretty excited!

    Tang Not Eating

He may be talking about the spur on the side of him. Is it near his tail? If so, that is normal in this fish.

    Maze Coral

I'm not sure that is your fault though. It probably was sick coming from the LFS or wherever you got it from. Hmmmm. What did it look like before and can you take a picture and show us what it looks like now?

Difference between 14k and 20k MH Lighing

Hey Everyone! I have read plenty up on the actual differences in the the 14k and 20k Halide lights. Now, I'm looking to see actual pictures with those running by themselves with out the supplemental lighting. So, I know you guys and gals have pictures of your tanks running with the MH's. So post...

Is that a Sebae Anemone? Nice shot, btw. The tank looks awesome!

    Complete NOOB needs help!

I'm on my way to getting a 75 to upgrade from my 46 Bowfront soon. The 75 is shorter and easier to get to things on the bottom of the tank. Plus, if you want to go with corals. The shorter height brings lights closer to the actual corals to help with growth.

    Tang Not Eating

Some fish it takes much longer to get acclimated. Has he found a place to hang out by himself? As long as he is eating off rocks it should be ok. You do have algae in your tank correct? If so, it should not be an issue. Just leave the seaweed over night and just let it go. Does he looked starved...

Make sure you have a few friends to help out for sure. Just in case something happens it's great to have someone there to help you.

    angry clownfish

It should stop eventually. The larger one is just trying to say, "Hey, I'm female! I'm the one that runs this house, so back off!" Then it should calm down soon.
