I used 400 tgen 600 then 1200 then 1400. I got it used and it had some gnarly gashes. Bought a buffer today, took care of the issue.

The tank is 75gallon long. I've never had any issues raising them together. It depends on the over all temperment of your tank. I'm confident it will be fine.
