Sorry to leave so much important information out. Let me see if i can clear some things up. There are 2 crayfish. One of them has 2 orange hard looking spots and the other has 1 fuzzy white spot. The crayfish with orange marks has had them for over a month for sure but im not exactly sure...
So the first one still has the two orange spots but they haven’t grown.
A second crawfish now has a white fuzzy spot.
Anyone have any ideas?
I looked up white spot but couldn’t find how to help them.
I haven’t found anything about the orange spot.
I didn’t give enough information. Sorry guys.
The tank isn’t warped and the entire set up can’t be more than 3 months old.
The floor I am trying to set it up on isn’t flat and the stand was a little rickety.
I have placed the shims under the stand and it’s almost lvl. It feels sturdy...
I was given a stand and tank for free and am trying to make sure it’s safe to fill. It’s on the stand it comes with but it’s not lvl. We have it close but it’s still near the line on the lvl. Is that good enough or does it need to be perfect. When we started it was completely on the...
I have a 20 gallon salt tank with a couple anemones and a mated pair of clowns. I have horrid lighting and am looking for the cheapest light i can get away with. I was told the light i had was adequate but my anemones are suffering and i need to fix this fast.
I would love to know what other...
Oh i know that the battery powered LED is not a forever thing! I was just really excited that it helped the little guy right away.
:fish1:
Is that light a good permanent light for the tank? I only plan on having the clowns with the anemones.
So thanx to you guys the little white one is already starting to look better. I found a little LED battery powered light (for power outages). The white/clear has already started to turn green after 3 hours of the new light being taped to the front of the tank. I could still use some help with...
So when i was given my tank i was told the LED Marineland was good for coral and anemones. Now i have a bleached sick BTA and need to get a new light asap! I have a roughly 20 gallon tank and it's 14 inches tall.
So i can't return the anemones (i'm in Japan). What light would you recommend?
The tank is about 20 gallons (give or take) and the light is 14 inches from the sand.
I was given this tank about a month ago then had to move it to another house. Before that the tank had been set up for about 3 years. The lights are LED Marineland, the previous owners said it was high power and made for coral. I tilted the shells (the fish are quite pissed at me) and the...
I just cut down on the aptasia (i kinda like the little buggers). I asked about the white one when i saw it at the LFS and when i went back (2 weeks later) it was still looking the same so i bought it. Now i have been reading about bleaching and such. Any tips? I never see it eat. The two...
Not the best picture but you get the gist. Are all three of these bubble tips? The LFS here says they are but they look so completely different. The newest one is olive green with neon green stripes and a pink tip. The clear/white one has green and orange tips but no bubbles and the first...

Here are two pics from today. I have the best lighting (i believe). When i see food hit its tentacles it seems to shrink into nothing to get away from it. Is that normal?
I have a small bubble tip anemone and worry because it isn't eating what i feed it. :banghead: I am doing something wrong. The light is proper, it should be eating... but it isn't. It sucks in whenever i add food.
Can you help?
:thanks:
