Help I think my cichlid is in danger. It's always hiding and hardly ever swims around. He will either be floating just above the ground or hiding in a dark rock cave. Is he just shy or a hiding fish? Or should I worry??

Got tank all cycled just about to put plants in. Also I'm about to make the pile of rocks in right corner. I made the hood myself. I intend to keep gouramis. Neons. 1 Angel. Cherry barbs. Cory catfish. And eventually GBRs :) it's a 188L tank and is 5ft long

I'm after some bottom dwelling fish. I am leaning towards corys. I want a school to keep them in a school (which is recommended). Also I want a stand alone bottomfeeder such a a pleco. But one that doesn't get huge. I was thinking about getting golden bristle nose.

I'm cycling this. Just made a good for it looks nice with the light on getting plants tomorrow. Ill keep uploading :)
