I picked up a 205 today for a good price and I've got it plugged in etc and its all running well, apart from a leak. I know where the leak is coming from, its the part where the top and bottom join, so far I have tried removing and re installing all media baskets and also greasing the gasket...

Change a few wee things around with the tank today, just re arranged the decor, i'm for ever doing it... Glad i'm not a fish, i hate change. Also found a new way to change water... a little bit risky but seems easier and less stressful than pouring the water straight in from the buckets...

It's possible you just can't see the fry or she has eaten them.

Candi, do you have a liquid test kit? I would just test the water weekly and whenever nitrates start getting higher than 20ppm (some say 30, other 40) start considering doing a water change on the tank.

Add more corys, i'd personally double the number and perhaps some 3 spot gouramis, i have 4 3 spot gouramis in my community and no problem :)

Wood will help all plecos, do you ever feed veggies? Pleccy could be alittle choked up if he's not been getting enough ruffage (not eating wood)

What about a school of Harlequin Rasbora's? I love mine, very colourful once settled and mature and relatively active.

My fluval U3 sometimes does this, i took the impellar out and gave it a good clean and it seems to have helped.

OP - Are you able to swap the angel if it's hassling your other fish and you cannot seperate it? Pleco's aren't actually all that good at cleaning... they tend to do more pooping than cleaning?

If you have a spare tank put them in there when changing substrate, beats a bucket :lol:

I would probably look at increasing the Cory's only, the more corys the better they are. Also perhaps rehome the cold water fish(es) as they don't really thrive in warm water. Or so i've read, my experience is different but hey ho.
