    Pleco with camoflage

Mine is a bristlenose. In this photo you can (hopefully) vaguely see the lighter patches. It's usually only at night she has this.

    Switching to a canister filter

Yeah I've heard and read they are great. I've always had internal filters so it will be great when I can take the ugly and bulky thing out. It will look so much better.

    Switching to a canister filter

The media in my internal filter is just some small sponge. Should I just put that in the canister and take the filter out? I just don't want to start a cycle again. I've had the tank running for about 6 months.

    Switching to a canister filter

I have an AquaOne Maxi 103F internal filter in my 30g tank and I've just set up my new AquaOne Aquis 1000 canister and all is running smoothly. I've never had a canister before so I'm wondering how long should I leave them both running for before I can safely take out the old filter?

    Pleco with camoflage

My bristle nose changes. Sometimes he is the normal brown spotty colour and then 10 minutes later he has patches of ligter and darker colours. Then back to normal. Also, can't see a photo.

Plants in an aquarium that has aquarium salt in it?

I use a tiny amount of aquarium salt and my plants haven't stopped growing.

    Gourami tank

I'm thinking of setting up a 2nd tank and having just gouramis. I have a male dwarf gourami who is pretty aggressive and I'd put him in the new tank. Can I put other types of gouramis in with him? Are there ones better suited than others?

    Cube tank

Just wanted to show everyone my gourami and his bubble nest. I moved my smaller one to another tank before he gets rehomed and I'm seriously thinking of getting a female.

    Compatible angels

Closer to 30G, sorry we use litres rather than gallons here in Australia. The kenyi already has a new home which he will eventually move to. I got 3 cichlids as gifts from a family member and I've slowly been re homing them.

    Compatible angels

    Oh and 4 neon tetras.

    Compatible angels

I've always wanted an angel fish and am just wondering if there are any small species that would work in my tank? I've got 6 kuhli loaches, 2 bn pelcos, 1 kenyi cichlid and 2 dwarf gouramis. It's a 110L cube tank - pics here http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f70/cube-tank-278910.html Thanks!

    Brackish fish options?

The brackish bumble bee gobys are cute. I have a couple of the freshwater bumble bees and they are great fish.

    Cube tank

Pretty sure it's a duboisi. They lose their spots when they get older and get a yellow stripe over their back.

Which photo? They won't load on my phone and I forgot what I've put up :(

    Bettas in community tank?

I only have one male that I have to take home from work. I'll try him out in the tank otherwise I can pop him back into his bowl.

    Bettas in community tank?

This is probably a silly question but can fighting fish be kept in community tanks? I've only ever kept them by themselves in smaller tanks.

    Cube tank

Also, the black spotty cichlid in the above photo has been rehomed so my kenyi is my only cichlid now :)
