What about a goby? The only thing I'm worried about it that they're jumpers. Even with the lid down, there's a gap between the tank and back chambers. I don't particularly want to find a goby in the back chambers... Besides, the other half constantly opens the lid to check this that and the...
I was only planning on getting one chromis as I knew that unless you had a big tank to actually house a proper "school" they will just keep killing each until there's only one left. So I shouldn't just get the one? Shame, coz I really like the colour. :fish2:

Is that too many? Apart from the clowns which are a must have...
I'm a newbie too. Good to know I shouldn't need to clean the sand. Might persuade the other half to pick up some cerith snails, I hear they clean the sand.
Hi All, I adopted this Clarkii when I bought my tank on the the 22nd September, but now I want to start my own stock list and this rather large clownfish does not fit with the fish I want.
The tuxedo urchin has done grand job getting rid of the algae on the backboard. Water change day today, but no new livestock yet. Gonna take it nice and slow, with Christmas coming up, I'm curbing his spending on the tank! :lol:
You can buy a substrate cleaner. It just looks like a clear tube with erm...clear tubing basically... You use like a Hoover (vacuum cleaner for the non-Brits) it sucks up the algae and dumps your sand back down.

I think mr X is probably one of the most knowledgable on here. :) I read that asterina stars breed like crazy, so I would keep an eye on them. I wish I had some though, I bought a Linckia star and it appears they like to eat asterinas!
