The tank is glass unfortunately :( I have my pops building me a custom stand so that is a good start.

I have found a 225 gallon tank on a Craigslist listing for a steal of a deal, FREE! But the only problem is, i have no stand for this massive tank, plus it has a leak in at least one corner of the tank, so as I started to fill it up, it was also leaking all over my carpet. :/ Any suggestions...

For looking so cool they are not very smart haha

I love the mollies as well but me only having a 10 gallon at the moment really isn't fitting for them. I gave my 2 mollies to my room mate who has a 30 gallon.

Well I check the decor, not sharp, I guess the fish just was a little slow & got stuck in literally the smallest part of the decor. I bought a new red wag patty yesterday, but a little bigger than the last one haha.

Update: the platty died. His sides was cut up looking and his tail fin was injured. :( I dont know how or why he was trying to squeeze in that little hole in the first place. Ugh.

So my red wag platty got stuck in a castle decor, helped him get out sum his one of his fins got injured. Now he's just laying on the bottom of the tank, only swimming to the top to eat. Any suggestions?

My room mates 30 gallon I was thinking about giving the black molly too. Think it should be big enough?

Well I appreciate your honesty! I just want to try helping her father because he has a great love for fish. Over 100 gallons though is quite a bank buster though! hahaha

So no tank suggestions? Her father lives in a apartment & lives his goldfish so a pond isn't really an option for him sadly enough.

The all black molly is by far my favorite aside from my first fish which is the betta :) The black molly is just so neat looking!

I cycled the tank, well actually my friend had already cycled it about a couple months prior to him giving it to me. My room mate just purchased a 25 gallon so would that be a better fit for the mollies & just keep the platty in the 10 gallon?

That's so sad but glad to hear somebody is caring for him.

What size would somebody recommend for those size of goldfish? I was thinking about getting her father a bigger tank for xmas.

Update: So I went ahead & stocked my new tank. I have a red wag platty, a dalmatian molly & some type of molly that is all black. I know my tank is a little small for the mollies but a friend had to give up the 2 mollies so I figured instead of him flushing them down the toilet I would take...

Aww that's so sad! Glad you gave him a good home. How can you tell he's part blind is he missing an eye or something? Then crown tails are so dope looking! What colors is he?
