My yellow tang is doing fantastic, had him for a couple weeks now, this is my second round for stocking my tank.

Got my first blue tang today, it's been in my 90 gallon reef tank for a couple hours now, is it normal for this fish to hide in corner of the tank. Also this is a small juvenile, maybe 1.5 to 2 inches in length.

I have a small frag of palythoa and would like to remove it from the square I got it on and place it on some rock, any suggestions on how to do this or if I can even? I'm new to reefing and this is my first frag

Thanks, what kind of chiller did you get, wasn't planing on getting one till the summer but the way this winter is going think I'm going to have to spend the money sooner than planed.

They were on some rock I recently added to my tank, curious as to what species they are

I've read where it needs to be almost sterilized between uses, any thoughts? And what type of filter, do I need as an elaborate setup as I have on my 90 or will a cheap filter from Walmart suffice?

What is needed for a quarantine tank and what is the smallest I could get by with?

It's a serpent sea star, fancy tiger striped, I've gotten some drip acclimaters to start with my next purchase

Should I be feeding my sea star anything extra or specific or just letting him scavenge is enough?

All my other fish I have gotten from him are doing wonderful, those are the only fatalities that I've had

He says that the fish build up a lot of toxins in the bag and it's best to get the fish out of it as soon as possible, not to quarantine because then you're shocking your fish twice.

Let them float for 15 minutes and put them in, none of the water from the bag went into my tank, my lfs advised against drip acclimation method. Yellow tang, clowns and serpent sea star were all added the same way with no stress at all.
