Ok so finally (after the addition of a splendid mandarin for some reason) the frag has finally opened up with clear tentacles. I've taken the picture under blue led in a dark room so it's really easy to make them out! Are we still looking at a Lobophyllia frag?

I was thinking diatoms but the tank thank is 5 months old. All levels are 0 for nitrate/rite phosphate etc. when I say gravel it's a crushed coral. Last time I had a tank this worked a treat but I'm at a loss with this algae. BTW sorry hoe the title of the post sounded. Wasn't supposed to be so...

Ok so we got up this morning and put the lights on to check everything and there was a purple/green/brown lump on the rock. Odd I thought until it started moving (surprisingly quick) like a slug and headed towards the hole in the live rock. What is it?

Towards the left just in the crevice on the live rock. It's like a fluffy/thread like dead bland green carpet growth that blows off if the power head goes near it. It looks dead but don't think it is. All tests are 0 the ph is 8.1/2 ish. Ka,ca,gh all ok sg1,025. Phosphate maybe 0.1 if that but...
