    Dead barnacles in a freshwater...

    I was wondering if I could even put these barnacles in my freshwater tank. I'm kind of going for a saltwater look so these would look great. And suggestion on how to clean these guys or if it would effect the chemistry at all?

    Nitrites were zero too, Ph was 7.3, and ammonia was 0

    I did shake the bottle as hard as u could for 30 seconds like it said but I'll try the test again today. I have a ten gallon with no live plants in it. But it does have a sand bottom.

    Yeah I might've tested it wrong but I followed the instructions.... I'll just have to see what the levels are over the next few days and go from there.

    It already finished the cycle and I already have fish in it. And I've had them in the tank for like a couple weeks now...

    driftwood from the river

    Whenever I use rocks for my fish tank or my bearded dragons cage I always bake them at 200 degrees f for an hour. This way it kills the bacteria.

    Planning on getting cichlids for the first time!

    I have a ten gallon and I want to get a couple of these guys. I know I won't be able to have them forever because I only have a ten gallon and they will outgrow it eventually. But I wanted some input on what species to get or if I should not get chichlids due to their size what fish should I get?
