Considering I have had the all those minus the cardinal and the gramma for 4 months and had not lost a fish.

When I see other pictures of hammers, they are look beyond thick and plush. Now that could be bc they have 10 heads on their hammer and I only have 2.

I was just curious if anyone has had the problem with their cleaner shrimp eating the polyps on a birdnest coral. Mine is tapping the polyps which causes them to retract and then he is getting a late night snack.

I am doing my regular water testing and noticed my alkalinity was at 11.5 which is to high. My calcium checked at 440. If I only dose calcium, will that help bring the alkalinity down or will it even effect it?

I am trying to understand the importance of magnesium. I have read a couple online links but still hazy. I am testing and understand my calcium(440 ppm) and alkalinity(8.5) which is good. So what will dosing magnesium really help do?

I am going from weak to a much stronger LEDs. How low should I set the dimmers to help prevent bleaching?
