This fish was purchased along with 2 others that are identical. They are about 2 inches and we have had them for about 2 months. Well yesterday I was walking by and 1 of the 3 has turned blue with dark stripes and yellow in his upper fins. I'm in shock. The other 2 are still the dark gray color...

So far so good. These other fish are pretty protective and basically swim over to look at him! He has made this rocky rasa his home but does venture off just a little. I have 6 more that need to be added too. Don't want to overcrowd tho.

We kept here in for a while 20 days. Then isolated her. Within a week she released them. They are doing very well now.

They were birthed yesterday1/17 a day after my bday! It was so cool to watch. I I freaked out! My husband acted like an old pro! But yes it is really adding additions to the family! So cute!

13 in all. Some were eaten but my husband rushed home to separate her. She was separated by a mesh liner but the gaps on the side allowed a few fry to ease out and yes ....swallowed by greedy cichlids!
