My molly is heavily pregnant (squared off)
She was staying at the top of the tank maintaining position above my plants
Then little tiny black things that didn't look like fry came out and now a long stringy piece came out but she is still hanging by the plants any ideas?
So how long will my tank house the bgk it's 280l for easiness because I was stating English gallons
The bgk was in a 1ft tank at pets at home English chain store with 2 others and I knew the requirements and felt sorry for it. The other two died at the pet store a couple of weeks later...
Im currently cycling my 6ft tank 250l
Can anybody give some advice on plants that don't need co2 generator
My tank has bog wood in and slate substrate (Chipping's)
Thank for the help
5 month now I also have put a few of the smaller decs from my other tank and some plastic plants I also have some live plants that are growing really quick.
What sort of plant is this at first I thought it was elodea densa but not sure
None of the tetras school they just swim about doing there own thing. I was recommended to get more kuhlis but he seems fine he doesn't hide at all he will feed with all the other fish. And how long would I be able to keep Casper ( ghost knife fish corny I know) in the 6ft before I relocate him...
He's the main reason for the future tank upgrade he's awesome he eats from my hands and if I make a hoop with my finger and thumb he will do circles through it and will rest in my hand :) it's fine I'm just glad your giving me advice
I can't believe I could be this wrong about it all I'm devastated :(
I was originally getting advice from my lfs but I think he was just talking me into a sale
Yeah I used water from the old tank I also placed a fluva u4 in my old tank for 2-3 weeks which is in the new tank I was also thinking about using some of the gravel from the previous tank.
After the test I also did a 20% water change and added some general tonic also.
Is that a lot for a 60gal?
Also is a eheim type 2036-510 external filter and a fluval u4 too much filtration?
I know I probably asking a lot of obvious question but I'm wanting to make sure my fish are as happy and stress free as possible.
I've recently set up a 6ft tank with gravel chippings as substrate I washed the gravel of all the dust over several days then bit by bit placed in boiling water to make sure.
Since running the tank I've tested the water every day with API master test kit and the ph has been stable is there...
Sorry this is over two tanks the balas and the red tailed are in my 150l tank had to move the knife fish because he was getting to stressed and wouldn't come out and eat.
Would you recommend taking the balas to the lfs and getting some more loaches. I was wanting to get 5 more loaches but thought that was to much for the tank with there potential size.
It's a 6 ft 60 gal tank I no it not ideal. I am currently saving for a 6ftx3ftx2ft main tank.
