    Pleco Feeding

This may seem to be a strange topic, but how does one go about feeding these monsters!?!! I drop shrimp pellets in and my pleco wont touch them. Do you have to drop them right in front of their face? -Blizzard.

    Sexing Yellow Labs

Well I'm asking because I'm pretty sure I've got two males. The bigger one will not leave the smaller one alone. He forces the smaller fish into hiding for a few minutes, then he will be brave enough to come back out. But then as soon as the bigger fish sees him he will chase him into hiding...

    Compatability Question

The tank is ten gallons in size. They are about 1.5-2 inches long, and I would only put about 2 or 3 in the tank.

    10 gallon stocking question....

As pleco said, the rainbows and angels would definitely outgrow the tank. The corys would work, but IDK if I'd put loaches in there as they would soon outgrow the tank. How about a small school of neon or rummynose tetras? -Blizzard.

    Compatability Question

Would it be okay for me to put a couple baby electric yellows with my pepperd corys? It would only be temporary until they outgrow the tank and move into my 55 gal malawi tank. -Blizzard

The only thing I see that could be a problem is the rainbow sharks. They may pick on the smaller fish. Here's a good compatability chart: http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/fwcompatibility_chart.cfm -Blizzard

    Cycling Question

My ammonia is 0.5 and my nitrites are hovering around .1 (Nitrates are 0.) The water is very very cloudy though. Is this normal in a cycling aquarium? Should I go ahead and do a water change. Thanks, -Blizzard.

Water Changes While Cycling With Fish?

Enigma's right, don't worry about the cycle taking longer because you have to do a water change, do whatever's best for the fish. -Blizzard.

Water Changes While Cycling With Fish?

Try to keep the ammonia and nitrite levels below .5 ppm. I'm currently cycling my tank and im getting ammonia: .5 ppm nitrite .5ppm and nitrate 0 ppm If your ammonia or nitrite levels rise to 1 ppm or above, I'd do a 10 - 20 % water change. This should drop the levels a good bit. So far...

    Let the cycle begin...

I just fed them, and checked the water a few minutes later. Ammonia: .50 ppm Nitrites .50 ppm Nitrates 0 ppm If it gets any higher I'll do a water change, but as for now it lookin good. Can someone explain to me how to put pictures in a post? Thanks, Blizzard.

    Let the cycle begin...

I set up my ten gallon fw Thursday and began the cycle with fish food. During this time I wasn't watching the water levels because I didn't have a test kit. So, yesterday I went and got a test kit at my LFS and while there, decided to pick up some long fin zebra danios. (4 of them.) I...
