Von Rio Tetras have Ich in newish tank

Okay, update on fish. Nitrate on last test was between 10-20. Nitrite was still 0, ammonia 0.25. PH is actually down to 8.0, which has never happened. The gouramis both went through a spell where they rested together on the bottom of the tank, only coming up to eat and air. The Von Rios are...

So, run the filter without any cartridge? That sounds messy to me!

how do corys benefit your tank ?

Ohhh, there must be some hard-core Cory experts here, I'm sure. When I was reading up on them a while back, there was an article that said their breeding was largely a mystery. It must be done, though, cause we buy the little buggers! Anyone have any articles or videos?

Von Rio Tetras have Ich in newish tank

Von Rio Tetras have Ich in newish tank

Update on male gourami... he started to eat food just minutes after my post, but he still doesn't go after it like he did and the other still does, but just eats what happens by. Can gouramis go blind?

Von Rio Tetras have Ich in newish tank

Hi, Aquarists. I bought two yellow gouramis four days ago... bear with me, as this is something of a new tank, only two and a half months old. There is a lot going on analytically in that little environment right now! I added a piece of driftwood to the tank about two weeks ago. The shop...

    Welcome to Me!

Hello, I'm new to this site. I'm not new to fishkeeping, but haven't had a tank in more than 10 years, and my, hasn't it come a long way!? My favorite fish are angelfish, and I'm currently in the process of cycling a 30 gallon before introducing any. I'm on the fence right now about keeping it...
