Thanx jehenery u got me scared now I scrubbed mines down and boiled them also but I knew nothing about the vinegar test I jus threw them in the tank once they cooled down unfortunatly I'm at work till 9 so hopefully my fish will b alive when I get home I jus bought 3 new cichlids today too :-(

Ok so they like to dig I'll def get the sand next time then. I was gonna get it cuz I like how it stands out more then gravel

Yea I wanted to get sand but already got gravel but next month I think ima go to sand wats the benifits of sand over gravel??

Thanx well I figured if nething I can always throw the topfin 20 filter on from my 20g to my 60g for a lil more filtration if necessary or am I wrong ??

Yea I'm reading about the fish in cycle now like u said I don't wanna sit there and look at an empty tank forever but I bought a whole new heater and filtration system how do u think these will do??

Thanx but I ran into a good deal at the store jus bought a 60 gallon tank and stand for 200 dollars setting it up now for the cycling

Yea I've read it but don't kno how true it is I only cycled my 20g tank for about a day and a half and threw my fish in there and there still ok but I'm gonna throw my tetras in there before I put nething else in there jus to b sure I don't harm my more expensive fish

Ok well there still pretty small jus bought them this morning but there all swimming nicely together so they should b ok. I jus bought a 60 g tank with a stand for 200 so I'll b switchin them out into the bigger one by Monday
