    My sps are doing great I thought I might have been too much light so I put the favia under a cave kinda protecting it from the light. So idk I'm dumbfounded with this. I just read somewhere that it could be my tangs nipping at it, iv never seen it but who knows

    I'm not sure if the ammonia is detectable or not when I test and am unsure I just say the reading is higher than I think. If I have ammonia it's close to none

    Hey man there is no need to worry about a nitrate shock when I did it my nitrates were off the charts 160 ppm or so maybe more and everything in my tank was fine just try to have to ph salinity and temp as close as possible but you mentioned your ph was already in the 8 range so you should be...

    I had a tank with "old tank syndrome" it was a fish only tank with a few soft corals the way I fixed it was a massive water change where I took out almost all my water and replaced it...nothing died and everything flourished after Here check out this article it's how I revived my tank...
