I always thought normal mollies needed more swimming space than a 10 ,20+ ? , Might depend on the type tho? Sail fin mollies especially males always look really active and seem to grow larger than the normal molie , while balloon mollies seem a lot less active ,

I had a friend with a pair , when ever I was there they never seemed interested in the tank just always satnat the glass watching everything in the room !

I did hope at first if maybe what ever it was that stunted there metamorphosis had some how reversed? I believe its a thyroid issue ? Maybe some natural iodine source ? But then I guess they would have looked to see if the salamander things they morph into had suddenly started developing in...

What's it covered with ? Is it possible its slowed the flow and its not processing as much water as you thought?

Something that I have herd about this fasinating fish is that the British heart foundation are using them for reserch as they are capable of regenerating and fixing there own hearts when they become damaged ! Very interesting information about this and the hopes that by studying them one day...
