    Fixing an IWAKI pump - MIA

    Does anyone know where I can get an Iwaki MD 30RXT 115NL serviced in South Florida (Miami or Kendall)? It's making that horrible screeching sound which I'm pretty sure it's the motor bearings. Is this something I can fix myself?

    Do you have to cycle with substrate? From what I understand you HAVE to cycle with rock, but what about substrate? Can I cycle with out it and add it after? Thanks ahead for your help.

    It's in! Paint?

    I used Black hobby acrylic paint on my 55 gal. and it worked for me. It took 4 coats in order to pass the flash light test. Goodluck.
