    Corals

I have a 30 gal with a firefish, a clown fish, flame angel, and a chromis and that is more than enough fish for a 30 gal. Don't get more than 4. I would even say 3 is perfect especially if you plan on doing corals as well. Sent from my LG-D801 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Algae problem

Bryopsis hair algae. Nightmare algae. Nothing likes to eat it. One way to get rid of is to raise your magnesium. The best way is to take the rocks out and clean them so manual removal. My 10 gal is infested. Yours doesn't look horrible yet. Remove it as soon as possible before you add anything...

Anthias or Basslets for a 29 biocube

That's common in a small system. I have a 29 gallon with 2 small clowns, 1 chromis, 1 flame angel, and 1 firefish. The firefish only comes out for feeding time. None of the other fish mess with the firefish. The 2 clowns and 1 chromis nip each other sometimes and the flame angel swims all day...

    10 gallon fish choices

If you research them as long as you have pods for them to feed on they will survive in captivity. From me supplying the system with phyto and the upkeep of the reef system built a natural habitat where the pods and other organisms were able to keep populating. I don't feel it's luck. Its just...

    10 gallon fish choices

I kept a mandarin in a 10 gallon reef for over a year till I had to take it down when I moved. I had live rock sand and corals. I only fed the system for what corals would need to feed. It had a nice pod population and that is all the mandarin ate. I never fed him once. Sent from my LG-D801...
