    55 gallon native tank

I caught the catfish in a small pool near a river when it was about 2 centimeters long. I got the crappie from a pond stocking company along with two others, one of which didn't make the three hour drive home, the other died about two days later.

Need advice on 29 gallon freshwater tank

I would like to keep this tank simple so I think I'll get banded sunfish instead of the blue spotted, I also like their coloration a little better, and think it will mix better with the black banded.

Yes those are the black banded, the video description says that there is one blue spotted but I think it's a juvenile bluegill,

Any idea what kind of worms are used in this video they really seem to like them. What would be involved in keeping daphnia, never kept a planktivore.

Oh wow, I was under the impression that as long as you released the fish into the water you got it from it was fine.

That's where I plan on getting the tadpole madtoms from but I'll have to order the other fish from here Jonah's Aquarium... Need Fish?. Do you think they would eat freeze dried blood worms, I've had success with that in the past when feeding young brim and bass.

Need advice on 29 gallon freshwater tank

Normally yes they would but these two species have a maximum size of about 2-3 inches. I use my 55 gallon for the larger species and release them when they get too big.

Need advice on 29 gallon freshwater tank

Yeah, I had a bluegill and he was downright mean in the spring and early summer. I had thought about the temperature difference and since doing some research earlier today have decided to get some tadpole madtoms instead. Any advice on substrate or cool water plant species?

New fish and the water in the bag from the fish shop

I have a tank with two predatory fish in it and when I give them feeders I never put the water in the tank, my fish have gotten some nasty infections that way. Since I've started just adding the fish and not the water I've only had one problem. However, the fact of the matter is that there is...
