Hornwort is hard to find in my area. I haven't had to to much look finding some I'm.about to put some bags of peat mo moss in my filter to. I want my rams to have a successful spawn. Here are some pics.

I have some of these plants in my tank but most of them are losing all there leaves. Why is that? Is it that there is no co2 I. The water for the plants? My lighting is good. I'll post a picture tomorrow of them.

I gave up on the crystal clear water. More interested in having a good water chemistry for my fish and for my planted aquarium

Just looking for other hobbyist in my area to share tips and tricks with about freshwater community fish and planted tanks. And find out if there are any local breeders or anything.

Any people on here from Colorado Springs? I been looking for local breeders or clubs or anything and have had no trouble online searching google. I couldn't even find a club here. I been looking for people to buy fish and plants from locally that are not petsmart or Petco.

So make it so that the replaceable chemical/mechanical cartridges have the water fed into them first and then the water through the newly added filter floss?

It's a mechanical filtration. That's what I want to use it for. For biological filtration I have penguin 350 biowheels. I think I'm going to leave in the chemical filters in the front and then put this filter media in the back of them.
