    Aquaclear 70 or Emperor 400 or 350?

I've got two AquaClear filters and I can't complain. Just make sure you rinse the sponge filter out really well every couple weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Mebbid's Fishtopia: Various tank builds

Mebbid, are you still looking for Blyxa? I've got some I could send your way. Let me know. This tank is looking really nice. I like the extra wood you've put in! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    FresH2O's Shrimp Tank

Hey Fresh, shrimp tank looks great! I remember you posting a picture of a feeding frenzy on some zucchini. Well I tried the same in my tank and 24 hours later the shrimp and snails have hardly made a dent. How long do you boil your veggies before tossing them in? Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    Fishenthusiast's 30 Gallon Planted Odyssey

I've ordered a few things from Aquabid before. I view it just like eBay... I know what I want going in, or I browse the sales and if something catches my eye, I'll do some independent research. Never had much interaction with the sellers before the sale. Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    Sk3llys 60P Build

Sorry to hear about your tank. Seems like you're due for a new build though. This is the second I've followed. It's really cool seeing how your style changes from tank to tank! Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    Fishenthusiast's 30 Gallon Planted Odyssey

If you have any interest in Bacopa, let me know. It grows fairly well in both my tanks (high tech 29 and low tech 10). Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    RadMax8's 29 gal Adventure

Good tip. I'm in the welding industry, so I've known that one well before I jumped into the CO2 game. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    RadMax8's 29 gal Adventure

The irony about this situation is that the night before, I had commented on a thread asking if CO2 injection can kill fish. I've also got a GLA regulator coming. Pretty excited about that bad boy. Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    Want to Redo Tank

As long as you are gentle, you should be ok. I recently moved, so all my plants went into buckets and they were fine. Just make sure they stay wet! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    40g Planted Apistogramma

Yeah the controllers use the same frequency. I would put the receivers on each end of the tank or cabinet so you don't have line of sight to the light you don't want to control. Zip ties are your friend! Get everything set up the way you want to, then use the zip ties to create a cable...

For Sale or trade: Brightwell Aquatics Potassion-P

Hey there, I've got a 300 g jar of Potassion-P that I won't be needing. I'm looking to trade for something related to freshwater planted tanks, or maybe some Repashy Superfood (Shrimp or Soilent Green preferably). Let me know what you've got! Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    40g Planted Apistogramma

Look on Craigslist for a CO2 tank. I picked mine up for $35 from someone trying to get rid of their kegerator. Then you can take it to the welding supply shop and just swap it out. FYI, don't buy food grade CO2... Way more expensive than welding grade. The Airgas store near me only does food...

    FresH2O's Shrimp Tank

Don't worry, I caught them. They'd been living in the 5 gal bucket since early November. I recently got rid of some plants and saw them in there. I also caught a Celestial Pearl Danio fry while I was at it. I can't believe it survived! Fresh, sorry to hijack the thread. Are the scrimps happily...

    TT's 40b

Good lord TT. I might as well strip my tank down and do bare bottom, no decor. Also, you aren't helping with my ram problem. Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    FresH2O's Shrimp Tank

Whoa that's a serious heavy duty filter guard. And such cute little moss balls! So, catching shrimps... I've got some that have survived in a bucket for two months. Do you have any advice on catching the buggers? Definitely not wasting time. Nope.

    RadMax8's 29 gal Adventure

So, against all odds, I think everyone has survived. My rasbora were upside down, buried in the plants dead. A little oxygen in the water and they've all perked up. It's incredible. I wonder what kind of long term damage I've done to my wet pets. Tomorrow is going to be a light and CO2-free...

    RadMax8's 29 gal Adventure

Well, haven't had much to report with this tank since I moved and neglected it. Things were starting to turn around, and today I come home and I've gassed my fish. Removed and replaced some water, now running with low water level and powerhead to get some O2 back into the system. I think it's...

    2.5 gallon

Keep in mind parameters can change much quicker in a smaller tank, so you'd really need to keep up on water changes and not over feed. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    1 school or 2 schools?

From what I've read, cardinals are the better choice over neons. Cardinals tend to be a little larger. But as you've said, it could happen. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

TT that planter is awesome. Where'd you pick that up?? The picture of yours makes me want one... That and all this Ram Bandit talk makes me excited for setting up a new tank! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Potassium Supplement Question

Can't remember off the top of my head. I'm just going to get rid of it and order some Flourish Potassium. Not worth the risk, imo. Thanks everyone for the advice. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Potassium Supplement Question

Ok, so I reckon I should just stick with the Seachem stuff then. Amazon, here I come. Oh well, figured it was worth a shot. Didn't cost me anything, I traded for some plants that I'd had laying around for a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    CO2 kill fish

He's right, you COULD kill your fish. That said, there's thousands of people who inject CO2 in tanks. The key is not injecting too much, and knowing how much has been injected. There are plenty of websites that describe CO2 injection. For a quick intro, check this out...

    Potassium Supplement Question

Yep, I dun checkt that muself. Where's aqua_chem these days? Definitely not wasting time. Nope.
