    Dark substrate or light substrate?

    I like darker substrate.. I have white in my reef tank... but for the fresh stuff I prefer darker.. here's one with a light blue gravel and a light blue back ground.. kind of a compromise... I have another with jet black sand ... I don't have pictures of it here.. I'll post them another...

    mine has plenty... but the DT is clean.. when it gets long I grab a hand full and "export" it right into the trash ......mine's a moth trap as well...

    you'll defiantly need that heater... I'm from Reading Ma.. my house was 56 (inside ) last /Saturday morning (I'm not turning on the heat until Halloween!). ... have you been to Oceans in Glass in Salem N.H... their live rock, coral and fish are top notch..

    My baby.. it took a lot to get her where she is.. but she has doubled in size in the time I have had her... she eats fresh hatched brine shrimp and chopped frozen red worms in a feeding station I set up for her as well as the pods that are in the tank...

    This si my 20 gallon bow front... soon to be relocated to a 60 gallon tall.. as the Angel has outgrown her digs.. the tank is populated with live plants that grow fast enough to be pruned once a week during the weekly 20% water change... filtration comes from a lil penguin bio wheel filer...

    I have one that is a little "bossy" to new fish( it chased the Chromis until I rang the dinner bell) but gets along fine now with 3 clowns.. 2 pajama cardinals... 2 blue /green chromis a diamond watch goby and a host of shrimp and clean up crew in a 65 gallon long... food is a distraction...

    Silicone usually does not bond to acrylic... I have had decent success with a hot glue gun for light duty applications....Weldon ( and I forget the number) makes a good acrylic cement for heavier applications...
