That makes sense. I pulled her out overnight and will transfer her back today I might move some more females into on that tank to ease the pressure.

Possible. She is an adult and doesn't look pregnant at all. There are babies in the tank, but I have several females in there so I don't know whose they are.

I have a female Endler that is lying on the bottom of the tank. Her mouth and gills are moving very fast. My first thought was ammonia or nitrite problem (esp. since I moved this tank two weeks ago). But ammonia and nitrite are at 0. Ammonia might be slightly above 0, but since there are low...
Still waiting for her to lay eggs. Apparently they can store semen and don't have a set schedule. Sigh.

I am trying to sex my bristle nose because I am considering putting them in the same tank. I think they are both females because they don't have many bristles.
Not sure if you can tell from the photos or not. They like to hide and are hard to shoot.

I decided to replace the faucet. Lowe's has a "laundry sink" faucet that has the hose connection right there. It was 20 bucks. I am going to replace one of my bathroom faucets tomorrow.
Buckets are out because I have 3 aquariums: 60, 50 and 45. Too many buckets.
I'll let you know how it...
I have 3 dwarf crayfish with my Endlers. They do not bother the fish at all. But they need lots of hiding places and a diet high in calcium. I feed them Hikari crab pellets and Ken's veggie pellets.
But the angelfish could pick on him. And you need to cover the tank with netting to keep him...
I am getting ready to move my aquariums from my office to my house but I can't find a faucet in my house where I can connect a hose. Kitchen is out. And both bathrooms have a faucet where there's nothing to unscrew. I attached a pic.
I rent so I don't really want to replace the faucet but I'm...
Not a fish but I added Mexican Dwarf crayfish to my Endler tank and I Love them. They don't bother my baby Endlers at all. And they are breeding.

I use aquabid. They are cheaper than live aquaria and have great selection. Look at the reviews to find good breeders.
I have also bought off ebay but with mixed results. One seller sent the snails I ordered regular mail instead of priority in the middle of the summer. All the snails were dead...
Check with your LFS and see what fish are popular and hard to get for them. That way you will have a place to sell what you are breeding.
I used to raise guppies and there were times I had to give them away.
I switched to Endlers and Dwarf crayfish and now my LFS is anxious for me to bring...
Where did you get your Endlers? I got some from Adrian on aquabid and they are breeding like crazy. It does seem Endlers take longer to mature (get colors) than guppies but otherwise my experience has been the same.

So my dwarf crayfish are breeding. Yipee!!
Or I have 2 gay crayfish. (I haven't learned how to sex yet so anything is possible. )
I was planning on moving this tank in the next couple of weeks. It is at work and I am bringing it home. It is a short trip but will probably take a couple hours to...
I hate my chi. Light stays on all the time and you dump water out every time you need to reach in the tank.

I recently had to catch very fast Endlers and this is trick.
Clean out a corner of your tank and put a small "tank". I have mini square holding tanks that I used. Then use two nets to guide them toward the mini tank. Don't rush. The minute they get in, slam 1 net over the top and drop the other...
Okay, it sounds like we have similar fish and live in the same area.
I know someone who has an outdoor pond here, but he has koi and it is deep.
I would never put my goldfish and Endlers together. The goldfish would eat them and are too messy. I clean my goldfish tank more than my Endlers.
I...
Check the kh levels in your tank. I had similar problems with my guppies and it was caused by low kh levels.

I had this in my first tank and it killed all my guppies. The place where I got them actually gave me some medication a new filter material because they caused the infection. Don't remember what it was but it says it on the box that it deals with it. It is also known columnaris.
