I ran my css 65 for less then a day and it was picking up lots of nasty gunk. Can't believe everything it takes out was once in the aquarium. Only regret is i should've bought the biggest model they had.

I ordered some rock from Gulf-view. $186 shipped 30lbs. I was pleased with it. Had a nice amount of critters and nice purple coraline. I don't have nothing to compare it to but the liverock sold locally. And the local liverock doesn't cut it.

So far it's a toss up between the true perculas or the false perculas. So it's not possible to put hermits and snails together? What would you adjust or add to list now since the damsel idea is no good? I don't want the tank to be too empty and that was the only reason for the damsels. So...

Well I'm ready for fish! It's a 46 gallon bowfront. 30lbs of base rock. 30lbs of liverock. 60lbs of sand. Lighting is PC 192 watts. And all water checks out O.K. Live rock has been in almost 2 weeks. My list so far of what I want to keep. You guys can add or take away what fits and lives...

Did you get thier premium coraline rock or the decorative pieces?

Mined only smelled if I put my nose right above it and took a wiff. Went away fairly quickly.

The week I was planning to order lierock happened to be the same week Wilma hit. I'm willing to wait though. The Live rocks around here cost double and isn't even worth half the cost IMO. Hopefully they'll get back up within a couple weeks.
