I recently bought an aqueon pro 50 watt heater for my 10 gallon. Ive been running it at 82 but the temp wont go higher than like 80.3. Turned it up to 84 and still the same thing. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Well ich has killed all my fish. I didnt have access to an adjustable heater and meds didnt work(Marineland Ick Remedy). 6 tetras and a docile male betta. Id say it was a combination of sudden overcrowding, which caused a nitrite spike for three days, the nipping eachother to establish...

Three days into treatment using Marineland Ick Remedy. No signs of improvement. Ill treat till the last man standing. Anybody have any success/failure stories, advice, or guidance

Lemme know what heaters you guys use or would use and why. Gonna be upgrading in a month or so...and im looking at a 100w aqueon.

So I have an ich problem. I'm fairly confident. I do not possess a heater with an adjustable thermostat.(its on my xmas list) I have skirt tetras, a betta,and some shrimp. How do I solve this problem? I am not opposed killing off the shrimp in order to save the fish.

They just stay like this for hours on end. They nip and run eachother of from their "territories". Blatant displays of aggression toward eachother. 3 days of this The betts is the only one who goes where he plesses..... What can i do? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Aquarium Advice...

Current stock: 6 x Glofish Tetras 10 x Ghost Shrimp 1 x Veil Betta(male) They leave eachother alone, yet coexist well out in the open. They all roam freely! Planinning a bigger filter soon! Hoping my biological can handle it. Watching parameters closely.

I added three fish a few days ago, and the water seems to be clouder than usual. Could this be from excess food waste? Been feeding flakes.

Well after 4 months of failure, I finally tried to cycle my tank again. I use Dr Tim's one and only and well its not exactly what I would call an instant cycle, it certainly helped a lot! My 10 gallon tank now processes 2 ppm of ammonia in a 24 hour period consistently. It's been a long road...

I have a spool open ended 3528 waterproof led RGB lights. I bought some line connectors so that I could reconnect them to the adapter. I cut the silicone back so that it would slide into the snap connector...... And that's where I ran into my problem - the contacts don't line up with the teeth...

Day 20- ammonia has not dropped one bit since i started it. I know i didnt use any seeding media...but what gives? Any ideas?
